Okay so heres my idea. Take the same design used in Sinza's "Saw Gauntlet Forearm Blade" and extend to your knuckles. Take the lock and add a second part to it thats attached to a door-henge type metal flap thing. opening the lock will release the claws and lock them in place at the end by having the metal flap thing fall into a groove on the claws. This lock will be on a compression spring to hold it down. I'm not going to spring-load the claws on this for safety/control reasons, i'll ...

I'm recently working on a replica of the arm device worn by Benicio Del Toro in the James bond film LICENSE TO KILL, He flicks it out a few times during the film.

While making it I remembered a toy I had as a kid (which probably Hooked me into retractable arm devices) It was a Hubley Panther Derringer arm device. THe only drawback was it swug ...

After so much searching I finally found something that we can play with.

I went internet digging and I found a forum for people who make their own Predator costumes and props.

As most of us know, Predators are a alien race of hunters who wear large automatic forearm gauntlet blades.

So I searched through all their forum for a few hours and dug up everything I could on how they make thier wrist blades.

Some are simple with rubberbands or such to move the blade.

How it works:

I have a BFA in Blacksmithing/Metalsmithing from Northern Michigan University and have been doing blacksmithing work for the last 6 years. I have made some blades but nothing out of steel that was larger then a dagger. It will take a while to get to forging out swords. I do make swords out of Aluminum though. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Knife throwing in the military

Military personnel (usually spec-ops) seldom use "normal" knives for throwing, because lack of repeatability makes training and certification difficult. The French GIGN's knife has a liquid mercury vial hidden inside to help automatically orient the blade forward when thrown. The Soviet "Spetsnaz" throwing knife is actually a blade gun, which uses a very strong coil spring hidden ...

Hi Guys,
This is my first post here, I absolutly glad to find this forum, great forum, very creativ... I especialy interested in switchblades in combination with other weapons. I look for the pics and designs of antic or modern switchblade pistols. Because as I've seen, switchblades are most combinated with single shot firearms. Most pics that I've seen were from antic ones.
Has someone more information about this subject? Or some interesting pics?
