New to the site

Hi everyone, new to the site and thought I would say hello. Some background info on myself. I have a BFA in Blacksmithing/Metalsmithing from Northern Michigan University and have been doing blacksmithing work for the last 6 years. I have made some blades but nothing out of steel that was larger then a dagger. It will take a while to get to forging out swords. I do make swords out of Aluminum though. Here are some of the blades I have done.

Blade is shaped from Aluminum

Most of my blades have been daggers made from Rail Road Stakes that I forge with hammer and anvil. Right now I don't have any good pics of them but I have sold about 5 so far. Besides the knives I have also made to prop guns for some Firefly costumes.

Jayne Cobb's gun, Vera, welded from scrap steel and weighing in at 12 lbs. It has since been painted but I havn't gotten any new pics taken.
