| Hey! I love weapons. I usually make it a hobby to watch documetaries, so i know a lot about different kinds of weapons and where they originated from, usually commenting on weaopns i see in games i play or shows i watch (e.g. Assassin's Creed, Dead or Alive, Naruto).
I'm especially fond of blades, although i've gotten a bit interested in modified guns and stuff like that. Not much of an inventor, but I'm handy with tools, so I guess there's no better time to start than now.
Nothing much to say after that so.... | |

| Good to see you actually joined! If you need help with a blade, we could always set up a time. I got plenty of tools at my workshop. | |

| Actually, If you wouldn't mind recommending the kinds of tools i'll need to start up my own workshop, that'd be a big help. | |

| Hey CS, welcome to the forum, I hope you search a topic before you make it! And ofcourse, have a good time. The basic tools you'll want are files, a drill press with loads of drills, DEFINITELY a Dremel with cutting wheels and sanding wheels for those tiny corners that need smoothing. Might want to get a big case of springs, nuts, bolts washers. And ofcourse wood and cardboard, lots of it so you can make mockups before you rip into expensive metal. If you need websites for tools and the like, a member here who goes by the name "Ox" has made a little list http://www.sears.com/ http://www.dremel.com/en-us/Pages/default.aspx http://www.craftsman.com/ http://www.tools-plus.com/ http://www.dewalt.com/us/core/ http://www.harborfreight.com/ http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/HomePageView?storeId=10051&catalogId=10053&langId=-1 http://www.lowes.com/ http://www.acehardware.com/home/index.jsp http://www.ryobitools.com/ Have fun, make nice toys for us to see. | |

| XIPHOIDS | Also known as a Retractable Forearm Dagger, Xiphoid is a class of weapons with a blade that is retractable into a forearm worn wristband/bracer sheath. Designed for swift and quick surprise attacks. It is notable for being evolved from the Katar and the Pata, punching swords with the blade sitting inline with the users fist.. |
Doers and Talkers | There's two kinds of people in this world when you boil it all down.
You've got your 'talkers' and you've got your 'doers'.
Most people are just talkers, all they got is talk. But when all is said and done, it's the doers who change this world. And when they do that, they change us. And thats why we never forget them...
So which one are you? Do you just talk about it or do you stand up and do something about it? Because believe you me, all the rest of it is just bullshit. |
