| ACCUFLIGHT EASY STIK Here's a good review of the knife. http://www.donrearic.com/accuflight.html Got some new toys in today. All the way from Germany. ACCUFLIGHT EASY STIK We've talked about these before, but I figured it needed it's own post. The knife that flies like a arrow. So...I took it out back today and tossed it around a bit. It's different, way different. I've been throwing knives since I was a kid and these are NOT like throwing knives. It's a different feel, like throwing a dart but different. I tried to throw it like a knife and tried throwing it like a dart. The dart throw flew straighter but had less power. Throwing overhand, like a normal knife, made it take about 10ft before it evened out, but from that point it flew straight. It's going to take a bit more practice before I'm anywhere accurate with it. I like it. It sticks every time! Overhand, underhand, sidearm, like a knife, like a dart. It just flies straight and sticks nice. I'm getting more and a few of the large size. My buddy has some property and they hunt various things. I showed him this and now he wants a large one to throw at the wild turkeys on his land. .....I just might have to join him for that!! ...after more practice. If you're a knifethrower at any level, and most of us are NOT pros but more of a hobby sport, you'll like this. After you get the hang of it and can hit your target it sticks every time. No need to do the mental math of rotation/strength/distance calculation...just throw and it sticks. Now...this is NO EXCUESS not to learn how to throw a knife the right ways! NO! You must learn that! But, this is a new toy for the toybox..and a fun one at that. And due to the postage, make it worth while...buy at least 2 or more. You know you're gonna want to give one to a friend. Or at least save walking to the target and back. Yep....I'm getting more. I like it! Sinza Available here: $42.00 also sells replacement tips. http://www.toolshop.de/product_info.php?products_id=2598&XTCsid=0d507111f38c6a70f96760b262ede6f3 I think I found a place that sells the Magnum size, I'll know soon. ......................................................... The ACCUFLIGHT EASY STIK Review of the Accuflight Easy Stik Pro by Thomas Holtmann The first time I saw the Easy Stick Pro was in an advertisement in Black Belt magazine. The shape of the knife instantly reminded me about the ancient Chinese throwing darts.
Over the years I threw everything I could put my fingers on, like: folding knifes, throwing stars, kitchen knives, screw drivers, Balisongs, long nails, Japanese and Chinese throwing darts, and so on.
As years passed by I was really getting good at my distance, but everybody who throws knives knows, as soon as you change your favourite distance you start to get in trouble with hitting the target in the right way. Especially when the target (or you) is moving! And now somebody proclaimed that his knife is going to stick all the time, no matter how you throw it?! I had to see it to believe...
When the Easy Stick Pro arrived, I couldn´t wait to unwrap the parcel and use the knife. The first thing I thought when I saw the knife up close was, "The size and the shape are perfect!"
After holding the Easy Stick Pro in my hand a second thought appeared: The weight is also perfect! So now we came to the fun part: THROWING!
I couldn´t believe it-it doesn´t matter which distance or throwing style you use. The Easy Stick Pro will stick all the time!!! Even my girl-friend, who never ever had thrown a knife before, was hitting the target with full power and the Easy Stick Pro was sticking all the time!
After a short while I was starting to get fancy: Cartwheel throws, rolling forward/backward throws, jump kicks combined with throws... the knife was sticking all the time! It doesn´t matter if you or the target is moving-the Easy Stick Pro will stick!
The thing I like the best about the knife is the impact when it is hitting the target!! Cause of the perfect balanced tip the blade will always, even if you just hold the knife with two fingers and throw it with no power, stick deep in the target.
Another thing I like about the Easy Stick Pro is that it comes together with a leather sheath. So you can put the knife right on your belt.
For me as a Martial Arts Instructor the Easy Stick Pro is the perfect throwing knife! Nobody has to worry about distance, rotations, how to grab the knife and so on. You just have to worry, like always, about aiming. There is no frustration for beginners anymore - just fun!!

| Have you tried throwing it like a bo-shuriken? It looks as if you might have luck that way since it resembles one for the most part. |

| Yes, and it works great! I want more, at least 4-6 of these to toss around!! And just so you know, the more spread out the tail is the straighter it flies. Now.....to design that wrist launcher I was thinking about!!! | |

| Actually with a projectile like this, even semi-auto will not be that hard... I've been wrestling with semi auto with a crossbow, and with standard three fletch designs... What a nightmare... The design of this projectile is almost perfect for a semi-auto launcher. | |

| XIPHOIDS | Also known as a Retractable Forearm Dagger, Xiphoid is a class of weapons with a blade that is retractable into a forearm worn wristband/bracer sheath. Designed for swift and quick surprise attacks. It is notable for being evolved from the Katar and the Pata, punching swords with the blade sitting inline with the users fist.. |
Doers and Talkers | There's two kinds of people in this world when you boil it all down.
You've got your 'talkers' and you've got your 'doers'.
Most people are just talkers, all they got is talk. But when all is said and done, it's the doers who change this world. And when they do that, they change us. And thats why we never forget them...
So which one are you? Do you just talk about it or do you stand up and do something about it? Because believe you me, all the rest of it is just bullshit. |
