| Abonude (or AboMickey on here) inspired me to come to this forum. I love building things, and recently I've built my first wrist blade using his tutorial with a few different things because I used a different slide. So far I've only edited a few people's designs, but I plan to create my own designs and put them to work. I built many things before that weren't weapons, but I really do enjoy making my own weapons the most out of anything. So I'd like to say, hello, everyone! Edit: I'll let you in on this right now because I don't want to be known to you guys as a liar because I like this forum quite a bit: I'm actually 14. Now just because of this, please don't go off saying, "Oh, he's immature because he's a teen," because I'm not like that. I'm mature enough to have a normal conversation with people without making unneeded jokes, comments, etc. I can see that I'll have to prove it to you guys considering all the dumbasses that come here to troll and lie, but I'm willing to prove myself This is what I have so far. I just need to add a locking mechanism and I'll be complete (along with arm straps but that's not important at the moment). Extended!

| Welcome!
Please read the rules and regulations and sign them, as they're quite important. Furthermore I'll have some 'Beginner Quick Start Tips':
There are 2 things which people really don't like on this forum: - Lying and Dishonesty (but that's in the rules, and that makes sense. Includes false promises though.) - Horrid spelling (Although that doesn't seem to be much of an issue with you. Our great watch-hound for spelling is ShadowHound. He's a nice guy, unless you piss him off. He can be a bit harsh sometimes then, although I have never seen him do that unjustified.
Then, something else: If you go to the left on your screen, and then go the thing right below the 'Latest topics'-box, you can see a giant flashing box saying "New Member Quick Links". I would suggest taking an hour, and reading through them all, because they are, every single one of them, very useful. I didn't do so when I first got here, I did it only recently, and then I found out quite some things that would have been useful if I'd read them immediately. So yes, it takes a little time, but it's very useful and educational.
Then something that took me quite a while to figure out. Do you see those plus and minus signs on the far right of someone's post? Clicking that is what gives 'Reputation points'. It's noted on your profile, lowest thing, right under 'points' If you think someone has given a very good contribution to a discussion, or has made something awesome, you can click the plus sign to give them positive reputation points. If someone says "0mg guizze Im new hear, can u plzzzz tell meh how too mak an assasin creed hidden blade please omg omg plzzzz? :) :L" Then the minus sign is there to give them negative reputation points.
Then some other notes, which I have learned during my relatively brief stay on this forum: - If you are going to comment on a thread, always read through ALL of the comments before posting your comment. Yes, this can be very time-consuming when there are 7 pages of comments, however, this rarely happens. It just creates a lot of annoyance when you have a topic, and something gets asked 15 times because people don't read that it has been asked, and has been answered as well before. - Always use forum-supported smilies. There's plenty of choice, and sometimes translational software bugs up when using smiley's that aren't supported by the forum. Think of ":]" combinations, they sometimes mess with translations. And besides that, it's not necessary to be an internet hipster on here. - If English is not your first language (and even if it isn't), use a browser with a built-in spelling-checker. It clears up little spelling errors, and it's just really handy in general. Most browsers nowadays have it built-in, I don't know about Internet Explorer(but that really shouldn't be used anyway) but Google Chrome and Firefox are sure to have it.
Other then that, contribute, enjoy, be honest, be nice, and you'll be sure to have a good time!

| XIPHOIDS | Also known as a Retractable Forearm Dagger, Xiphoid is a class of weapons with a blade that is retractable into a forearm worn wristband/bracer sheath. Designed for swift and quick surprise attacks. It is notable for being evolved from the Katar and the Pata, punching swords with the blade sitting inline with the users fist.. |
Doers and Talkers | There's two kinds of people in this world when you boil it all down.
You've got your 'talkers' and you've got your 'doers'.
Most people are just talkers, all they got is talk. But when all is said and done, it's the doers who change this world. And when they do that, they change us. And thats why we never forget them...
So which one are you? Do you just talk about it or do you stand up and do something about it? Because believe you me, all the rest of it is just bullshit. |
