| Inspired by the new joergs craze I was inspired to create my own slingshots. I immediately ordered myself some Thera Band Gold and started coming up with my own designs. I created this out of multiplex and was pleasantly surprised on how it came out. I went with a tall fork design because I was scared of hitting my fingers. When ever shooting it I would choke up on the fork and end up covering most of it anyway. I fixed this by creating a maple wood slingshot with a lower fork height and adding depressions in the sides. I did this because I shoot more comfortably when I have a finger and thumb support. Still I was not satisfied, I needed to adapt my hands to the slingshots grip when in truth it should be the other way around. My solution for this was to create an ergonomical slingshot that adapted finger depressions exactly where I needed them. I also adapted a "through the forks" style band attachment in order to minimize hand slaps. The way I aim is by a line I drew on the top band and I line that up with my target. Now tell me what you guys think! | |

| The first two are good. However, on the last one you removed too much wood on the thumb groove. Also...The wood grain on that one isn't exactly positioned in your favor...in fact it's dangerous...my guess if you keep shooting that one it will break and wack you in the hand or worse - face. No biggie though, my first shoulder stock had the same grain problem, though not as dangerous(the pistol grip just broke off). Keep learning, perfecting, and building better/stronger/ and more powerful stuff. Be safe, Ivo |

| And so the evolution continues! Ivo I can say that i've taken more than 1000 shots with the third slingshot and it hasn't broken on me yet. I doubt anything besides a major fork hit will cause this slingshot to crack. Because of how comfortable the third slingshot felt I used that design and put it on steroids. Using three layers of a broken skateboard, I created a triangular shaped magazine in the inside that holds 20 5/16 inch ammo comfortably. They are held in with 2 "super magnets" that allow me to shake the slingshot as hard as possible without the risk of any falling out. Unintentionally the thickness of the slingshot has made it really natural to hold. So whats next guys? Give me some feedback and ideas to make more unique original slingshots! | |

| XIPHOIDS | Also known as a Retractable Forearm Dagger, Xiphoid is a class of weapons with a blade that is retractable into a forearm worn wristband/bracer sheath. Designed for swift and quick surprise attacks. It is notable for being evolved from the Katar and the Pata, punching swords with the blade sitting inline with the users fist.. |
Doers and Talkers | There's two kinds of people in this world when you boil it all down.
You've got your 'talkers' and you've got your 'doers'.
Most people are just talkers, all they got is talk. But when all is said and done, it's the doers who change this world. And when they do that, they change us. And thats why we never forget them...
So which one are you? Do you just talk about it or do you stand up and do something about it? Because believe you me, all the rest of it is just bullshit. |
