This time, The Slingshot Channel shed some light on questions posted by fans and followers. The slingshot guillotine is tested against a half frozen chicken and an equally frozen leg of lamb.
Also, the vampire stake has been upgraded, it now has aluminum hooks and a steel tip. This allows specatcular impact on the thick leg of lamb.
Last not least, two new slingshots are presented.
You can win a "Cougar" or a "Panther" slingshot! All you need to do is to leave a comment on http://www.slingshotchannel.blogspot.com - if the winner is also a subscriber to the blog, a spare rubber band set will complete the prize. Drawing: 14th of August, 2011.

I think the reason it didn't cut through all the way wasn't in the power, but in the angle of the blade - It basically "chops" - brutting through the material.
Think the answer lies in the guillotines used back in the day.
Creating a sled that would hold the blade under an angle would give the blade the ability to "cut" in addition to chopping - reducing the amount of force required to go through the material.
I'm assuming that the sled with an angled blade might bring more weight to one side and thus cause unequal acceleration(causing friction and possibly locking up the sled in the track), so a balancing weight will need to be added in order to keep the guillotine acceleration in order.

PS: As cool as guillotines are, Indians surpassed everyone...just thinking about their executions makes me sick in the stomach. CAn you imagine instead of lynching, chopping and all the other humane things , they had an elephant step on the fella's head - crushing it...and brains spattering on the horrified faces in the front row of spectators...yum...

Also known as a Retractable Forearm Dagger, Xiphoid is a class of weapons with a blade that is retractable into a forearm worn wristband/bracer sheath. Designed for swift and quick surprise attacks. It is notable for being evolved from the Katar and the Pata, punching swords with the blade sitting inline with the users fist..
There's two kinds of people in this world when you boil it all down.
You've got your 'talkers' and you've got your 'doers'.
Most people are just talkers, all they got is talk. But when all is said and done, it's the doers who change this world. And when they do that, they change us. And thats why we never forget them...
So which one are you? Do you just talk about it or do you stand up and do something about it? Because believe you me, all the rest of it is just bullshit.
