Whoa! Gives me ideas for survival situation.... You could use two shoelaces and your survival knife for potentially hunting an animal.

What if we create a knife with cylindrical handle with hole and three edged blade with additional blades from middle of base blades rotated to 90 degrees.
so with one rope we will get sure hit.
