Age and Location

Guys...all the new members have to state age and location.

I would prefer that all members go into their profile and add their location and age.

At some point I will be going in and asking each of you to do so in a personal message.

So please, do this one on your own. If you don't at some point I will make you.

The location is more of a want to know kind of thing.

The age I'm finding I would really like to know because with some of out members being teenages we get some post that ask questons that ....show their age. I have nothing against teenages being here, but I would like to know if I'm talking to a 40 yr old or a 14 yr old.
I will ask all of you to be careful, but if I know you are 14 I will have a little more patience and will explain things a little more.

Right now this is a firm request, but is is kinda manditory. If you don't add the info I will at some point ask you in a PM.

Hi there people!

Well... here I am! I'm 22 now and believe it or not, have been scouring the net for a very long time for a site such as this, so I can't explain how happy I actually am to find like minded people. I've found it pretty hard to find like minded people when it comes to weapons, but then again, living in England, in the current climate, it is understantable to a degree, but still totally pi**ing off though if you ask me. Anywayz, thanks a lot Sinza for hosting a great forum such as this and the rest of you for contributing with all your great ideas. I just can't wait for my local DIY stores to open up so I can go and get myself some materials, lol.

Im not very big on knives or guns but I am working on something that I think this place can help me out with. Also, its incredible to see young kids (14, 15) create these amazing pieces of machinery and the creativity and skill that goes into them. My older brother and sister both have 2 kids each ages 28-35, and 5 grandkids ages 1 thru 11.
me and my other brother do not.
When they visit, I hide my knives and guns, hang jeff's guitars up high,
we fly wooden airplanes , launch rockets, catch bugs, go swimming.
then I need to recuperate for 2 weeks, I don't know how parents do it. . .

Hey, my name is Lantz and I am 15 (Turning 16 in a few days). I specialize in at home in Cold Forging, oh and for that matter, the house I live in is in Texas but Alaska is where grew up. I'm currently goin' ta college to get my core complete and then moving on to my major in Nuclear Engineering... Striving for a PhD in it and hope to write my Thesis on an in-process invention of Molecular Reconstruction. As for weapons, Ive made everything from scimitars (Pronouced sim-it-tar not Skim-it-ar!!) to 3-sided swords, gauntlets, shields with 2 swords coming out at each end, fighting staffs, a new breed of sword that can cut rock, trebuchets, and my special darling the Double Sided Double Ended Battle Axe. If you are refering to the sword that can cut rock... Its a special technique in which I re-arrange the molecular structure of the steel, causing it to increase in density, this lets it keep its flexibility and strength while improving its resistance to heavy blows and retain a perfect cutting edge. If you think this is an interesting subject.. maybe I should make a new subject on the forum discussing uses of carbon layering, cold forging and internal I-beam support.

P.S. That sword is my prize possesion, it took months of continous work as I forged the sword without heating it (thus "cold" forging) so I suppose you could say my sweat (from work), tears (from mis-placed hammer blows), and blood (from edge, point, and also bad hammer accuracy tongue

) went into that sword... As for the style? it is the first sword in the world that I have found that curves from the handle and then straightens out. The appraisal of this weapon is anywhere from 15k - 50k USD. The coolest part is that it can cut rock, but also it can retain a vibration for HOURS!!! (most can only retain for about 5 min.) What a Sword Song lol
