| This picture above was a very quick scetch for a Olympic throwing knife. There is a group that's trying to get knife throwing into the Olyimpcs, I designed a knife that looks 'safe and clean' so it won't scare people, people are freaked out by knives. I also suggested a few rule changes. What happened I was not expecting...they liked my ideas so much they are ADDING A COMPETITION IN MY NAME!
Here's what I woke up to....what a surprize!!Mike Alamo Bainton- President International Knife Throwers Hall Of Fame So throwers here is my proposition to get this ball rolling. I propose a SINZA DART throwing competition at the IKTHOF world championships in Austin Texas, At the IKTHOF Unofficial Olympic Knife and Hawk throwing championships , the IKTHOF North eastern US Knife throwing championships and the IKTHOF Northern US Knife throwing championships. SINZA DARTS The SINZA DART shall be 14 inches long and 14 ounces for the purpose of the 2012 SINZA DART competition. George Paylor will receive twelve SINZA DARTS to enable four people to play at the same time. Ed Imperatore will receive 12 SINZA DARTS to enable four people to play at the same time. Mike Gross will receive 12SINZA DARTS to enable four people to play at the same time, Mike Bainton will receive 12 SINZA DARTS to enable four people to play at the same time. All other IKTHOF tournament heads will be welcome. This would entail three targets for each lane with the IKTHOF- European targets with a scoring of 5,4,3,2,1. Each contestant will throw 20 SINZA DARTS from three different distances 3 meters, 5 meters and 7 meters. The total of all 60 throws will be calculated for each player. There will be three divisions Novice, Intermediate and Expert. Novice 1-99 points Intermediate 100-199 points Expert 200-300 points Trophies will be given to the top three of each division for the mens division Trophies will be given for the top three in each division for the Womens division Trophies will be given for the top three of the youth division ( has not reached his or her 16th birthday) Trophies for all divisions will be three SINZA Darts The IKTHOF board will discuss the SINZA DART experiment throughout the year as each competition is played, IF all four of the test tournament heads agree to conduct the test Any other applicant that applies to have a SINZA DART tournament utilizing the IKTHOF SINZA DART rules will be considered. $2000,000. of liability will be a pre requisite for all American SINZA DART games. The UK will provide their own version of liability insurance. Thats my proposition ladies and Gentlemen. Hank Akins if he agrees will provide a forum for the SINZA DART experiment. The SINZA DART experiment forum will be entered by IKTHOF members and their guests. All approvals will go through hank Akins . Any IKTHOF member can apply to Hank Akins to have any interested party enter the forum. IKTHOF Board members will throughout the year evaluate and change any part of the SINZA DART game. In November of 2012 the IKTHOF board will make a decision at to the final rules of the SINZA DART game. The final rules will be presented to the European throwers for their consideration. An additional discussion will take place during the off season with any interested party. Any SINZA DART tournaments in 2013 will be Sanctioned by a NEW GROUP NAME involving any interested thrower groups which will be named after the SINZA DART experiment by the four or more IKTHOF tournaments in 2012. Dude!!! Named after me!!! What a honor! I'm blown away. It's one thing to use my ideas, quite another to name the game after me.
Wow.
If you have dreams, make them happen! If you have goals, get off your ass! If you have ideas, make them real! Be better than you are, be great!

| Epic, truly epic.
Very cool to see the name used like that.
Any chance of a design for a "Sinza Hawk" Sounds pretty badass if you ask me.
I made a throwing knife target but it's got pretty small rounds for practicing. And it can't handle my hatchet, which is kinda lame.

| XIPHOIDS | Also known as a Retractable Forearm Dagger, Xiphoid is a class of weapons with a blade that is retractable into a forearm worn wristband/bracer sheath. Designed for swift and quick surprise attacks. It is notable for being evolved from the Katar and the Pata, punching swords with the blade sitting inline with the users fist.. |
Doers and Talkers | There's two kinds of people in this world when you boil it all down.
You've got your 'talkers' and you've got your 'doers'.
Most people are just talkers, all they got is talk. But when all is said and done, it's the doers who change this world. And when they do that, they change us. And thats why we never forget them...
So which one are you? Do you just talk about it or do you stand up and do something about it? Because believe you me, all the rest of it is just bullshit. |
