Greetings and salutations

So, I suppose I'll introduce myself then.
I am an avid weapons freak, I used to collect weapons from all over the world as well as make my own until one day the police confiscated almost every item I had since a lot of them was illegal to possess in my country and the other ones they just took because they could I suppose.
Not that it really matter as I had the time to learn how to wield them all and was able to acquire the basic techniques (notice I say basic here) of every single one.
So nowadays I just make my own or stick with weapons I can easily dispose of if needed, although more often then not I don't have the tools or materials available to make the weapons I invent.

I grew up watching a bit to many ninja movies throughout my youth and therefore set my eyes upon the nintaijutsu martial arts style as it allows a moderately proficient practitioner to best masters of other styles and therefore mastery in the style logically means besting any other style if wielded correctly.

Hence my major interest (though by no means only interest) lies in concealed weapons, stealth and middle to close range combat with a slight affinity for long range silent weapons.

All of which is pretty conflicting since I usually never try to conceal my goals, skills or personality making my life quite difficult at times by choice.

My personality aside I hope to be able to contribute as well as gain knowledge about weapons manufacturing through this site, so far I have only read the intro and 10 rules of the forums so I really don't know what to expect, but considering the rarity of forums specializing in this field I expect to find some interesting topics to participate in.
I might be a bit to self confident at times as I rarely meet people that know what they talk about in this field so if you notice I'm getting a bit pompous don't hesitate to correct my mistakes, I take constructive criticism as a good thing as long as it actually is constructive.

That should give you a general idea about who and what I am if not by far the complete picture, but hopefully it will suffice for the purpose of introductions.

Greetings. Welcome to the place. It's good that you read the rules and regulations...read them again. Other than that this place is a wealth of information if you know how to use it. So take the time, do the research, and you'll be building stuff in no time.

Regarding your character, no problems. You'll find none of us have problems correcting pompous folks who make mistakes.

But we prefer if you just keep it real. And, as JM suggested, make sure you fully understand the rules, and keep them in mind before, during and after you post, and you should be fine.
