| Hello everyone I am new to the forum and I just wanted to say hi. I have always had a thing for mechanical engineering and weapons, especially blade weapons. I have been reading on the forum a bit and I have already learned a lot, and I hope to learn a lot more. I hope to also contribute to the site with my own designs and plans as soon as I can.
---- Cresto
P.S. I want to already apologize to Sinza for the spelling mistakes I most likely will make... I read the rule about it. | |

| Welcome to the forums dude! Hope you have a good time and learn a lot while you're here You'll meet some awesome guys on here, the mods are laid back and cool guys, so just be honest, cool, and contribute and you'll fit right in! Also, about the spelling, if you're struggling to spell, I'd suggest using Google Chrome, it has a built in spell checking feature and it's a free download. The reason we stress spelling/grammar/punctuation here is because we have members from different countries using translating software, and spelling mistakes can cause that language barrier we don't want, it's great to have everyone's opinion and help, and just because someone might be too lazy to spell a word right, then they could lose out on some valuable help/information. If you spell and use punctuation and grammar like in your first post, things will be fine, it's just as well, if you're too lazy to type correctly, you'll come across as arrogant which I'm sure you don't want, it just helps keep things understandable, that's all. But, yeah, Welcome again dude | |

| I'm using Chrome as well, it's a wonderful browser on top of the spelling bonus. Also, welcome to the forum! I saw you read the rules, very good! However, there's more stuff I'd suggest reading: If you go to the top right of your screen, you can see a giant flashing box saying "New Member Quick Links". I would suggest just taking an hour, and reading through them all, because they are, every single one of them, very useful and educational. I didn't do so when I first got here, but only recently, and then I found out quite some things that would have been useful if I'd read them immediately. So yes, it takes a little time, but it's very useful and educational. Then something that took me quite a while to figure out. Do you see those plus and minus signs on the far right of someone's post? Clicking that is what gives 'Reputation points'. It's noted on your profile, lowest thing, right under 'points' If you think someone has given a very good contribution to a discussion, or has made something awesome, you can click the plus sign to give them positive reputation points. If someone says "0mg guizze Im new hear, can u plzzzz tell meh how too mak an assasin creed hidden blade please omg omg plzzzz? :) :L" Then the minus sign is there to give them negative reputation points. Then some other notes: - If you are going to comment on a thread, please always read through ALL of the comments before posting your comment. Yes, this can be very time-consuming when there are 7 pages of comments, however, this rarely happens. It just creates a lot of annoyance when you have a topic, and something gets asked 15 times because people don't read that it has been asked, and has been answered as well before. - Always use forum-supported smilies. There's plenty of choice, and sometimes translational software bugs up when using smiley's that aren't supported by the forum. Think of ":]" combinations, they sometimes mess with translations. And besides that, it's not necessary to be an internet hipster on here. Other then that, contribute, enjoy, be honest, be nice, and you'll be sure to have a good time! Irianthul. | |

| Wow thanks for the warm welcome guys! I already feel at home here Thanks for the tip on the Google Chrome Hidden-Blade. I am glad you told me about the plus and minus signs Irianthul, I didnt even notice them til I read that, and dont worry about me reading comments before posting I read pretty much anything I can so I will just enjoy it, and with that I am off to read the "New Member Quick Links" | |

| XIPHOIDS | Also known as a Retractable Forearm Dagger, Xiphoid is a class of weapons with a blade that is retractable into a forearm worn wristband/bracer sheath. Designed for swift and quick surprise attacks. It is notable for being evolved from the Katar and the Pata, punching swords with the blade sitting inline with the users fist.. |
Doers and Talkers | There's two kinds of people in this world when you boil it all down.
You've got your 'talkers' and you've got your 'doers'.
Most people are just talkers, all they got is talk. But when all is said and done, it's the doers who change this world. And when they do that, they change us. And thats why we never forget them...
So which one are you? Do you just talk about it or do you stand up and do something about it? Because believe you me, all the rest of it is just bullshit. |
