| Welcome, They look like custom jobs, I've seen a lot of bought switchblades, and the bolsters and blade grinds look unique. but I don't have a DVD copy so I've never "freeze framed" them to speculate on the design. | |

| Hello and welcome Are you one of the ones who e-mailed me about these??? I behind on responding to some of my emails. If so..sorry. This is one of a couple that I have started post for but not finished...I should just put up what I have... I have some still pics and I made a couple of videos of the devices being opend in the movie. The are a interesting design, as the blades are two-part. Looks like the blade swings open on the blade pivot...probally on a coil spring, then the second part of the blade opens the same...so the blade is longer than the handle when open. He does a arm move each time he open one, so I'm thinking the release mech is attaced to upper arm. When he straightens out his arm a cable is pulled and it open the devce. Looks like it springs forward a little bit, enough to give blade clearence to open, then it all unfolds. . . . Keep a eye out for a post called "Hudson Hawk Arm Switchblades"....I'll see if I can finish it up and post it this weekend. Take care : : | |

| XIPHOIDS | Also known as a Retractable Forearm Dagger, Xiphoid is a class of weapons with a blade that is retractable into a forearm worn wristband/bracer sheath. Designed for swift and quick surprise attacks. It is notable for being evolved from the Katar and the Pata, punching swords with the blade sitting inline with the users fist.. |
Doers and Talkers | There's two kinds of people in this world when you boil it all down.
You've got your 'talkers' and you've got your 'doers'.
Most people are just talkers, all they got is talk. But when all is said and done, it's the doers who change this world. And when they do that, they change us. And thats why we never forget them...
So which one are you? Do you just talk about it or do you stand up and do something about it? Because believe you me, all the rest of it is just bullshit. |
