A true repeating slingshot crossbow was always something I knew I had to make one day. Lots of problems to be solved. How do you deal with the band twisting? How do you cleanly line up the "pouch" every time? How do you feed a ball into the pouch without jamming?
Now I have done it - the first functional repeating slingshot crossbow is reality. It "fires" 20 mm (.79") steel balls.
The weapon can be loaded with 20 "rounds" within just a few seconds. Then, a simple racking action feeds a round into the chamber and cocks the bands.
The weapon is used here to smash eight glass bottles, which is done in one uncut passage with just six shots:

Will make a tutorial as soon as I have enhanced the weapon some more. This is my first prototype, and I am very happy with it, but there still are some issues I want to sort out.

Nice job Joerg! I really wanna ask, do the elastic you use for your sling shots wear out? because what made me stop playing with my sling shot was that the rubber from first sling shot my dad bought me broke......

Yes, rubber bands break. Always. The question is when, not if.
No big deal, they always break near the "pouch". I always leave them a little longer at the fork attachment side, so I can shorten them a few times at the pouch and re-tie them.
I usually get probably 1500 shots from a band set before it is ready for "retirement".
Also known as a Retractable Forearm Dagger, Xiphoid is a class of weapons with a blade that is retractable into a forearm worn wristband/bracer sheath. Designed for swift and quick surprise attacks. It is notable for being evolved from the Katar and the Pata, punching swords with the blade sitting inline with the users fist..
There's two kinds of people in this world when you boil it all down.
You've got your 'talkers' and you've got your 'doers'.
Most people are just talkers, all they got is talk. But when all is said and done, it's the doers who change this world. And when they do that, they change us. And thats why we never forget them...
So which one are you? Do you just talk about it or do you stand up and do something about it? Because believe you me, all the rest of it is just bullshit.
