| Ever since I was little I have always found Batman's gadgets very cool and interesting. I have drawn out various designs for his grappling hook shooters using c02 as power, but one of his most exotic weapons in my opinion was his electric brass knuckles. I was thinking about maybe making a base out of metal outlining the inside with rubber (for safety) and take apart a taser and using the parts from inside of it modified a little bit to fit. Then I would hook up a button in the back to activate them (or maybe a switch?). It probably doesn't even sound do able, but maybe you guys will have some ideas. after all this forum is about exotic weaponry. | |

| I think I might get one... they're cheap as hell.
EDIT:
OK, so I just ordered a pair on Monday and they should be here either Thursday or Friday. I'll post some pics and/or a video when I get it... they also have a extend-able shock baton and I think I'll buy one of them soon.

| If the taser was battery operated you would need a battery that could take at least 1 charged hit (unlike that of a taser). Maybe through circuitry the user would be able to set a charge that would pack a punch, yet not wear out the entire battery. However circuitry is fragile and if used within a part of the body used to prolonged movement e.i the wrist, it would damage and break over a short period of time.
So I have a small idea 100% theoretical....
Maybe the circuitry could be protected,... and electricity could be controlled using resistors?
I don't know,... I'm fairly new at this?
Maybe a push on push off switch controlled by the thumb could be used to complete the circuit, activating the electric taser plates? (presumably on the knuckles)
All just rough ideas to help anyone along, a little hope I can help.

FORUM RULE #22. Keep your posts understandable(easily readable basically) Spelling and grammar must be acceptable. Use capitalization correctly (no all caps or lack of caps). Use punctuation and contractions correctly. Start with a capital letter and end with a punctuation mark. I DO NOT WANT TO BE GRAMMAR POLICE. I understand that many of you are used to texting, this isn't the place for it. If you are going to write here please do it right. It's easy....start with a capital, end with a punctuation mark, use commas and apostrophes, use spell check if you can't spell. Please begin sentences with a capital letter, and end them with a punctuation mark.
Sentences that ask a question should be punctuated with a question mark. Shadowhound.

| XIPHOIDS | Also known as a Retractable Forearm Dagger, Xiphoid is a class of weapons with a blade that is retractable into a forearm worn wristband/bracer sheath. Designed for swift and quick surprise attacks. It is notable for being evolved from the Katar and the Pata, punching swords with the blade sitting inline with the users fist.. |
Doers and Talkers | There's two kinds of people in this world when you boil it all down.
You've got your 'talkers' and you've got your 'doers'.
Most people are just talkers, all they got is talk. But when all is said and done, it's the doers who change this world. And when they do that, they change us. And thats why we never forget them...
So which one are you? Do you just talk about it or do you stand up and do something about it? Because believe you me, all the rest of it is just bullshit. |
