Greetings, just want to introduce myself

Hi all, you can call me Laiko.

I seek to reach the next level of the art of war*.
Not to harm or damage people, but because its a part of the path ive choosen in life.

I see myself as spiritual, creative and...well...a bit crazy due to my sudden mood swings (one second death serious, next second hyper, next second sad...).

Since I like customization I train my own kind of martial arts since I have found no martial art to stick with, combining parts of several martial arts and making it look more like a dance than fighting.

Its pretty effective in the theory, but only with a weapon...

My arsenal is pretty big.

I train with guns (soft air, I dont need real), various swords ( katana, jian and own design), staff, scythe (addon to the staff, will be built soon), spear (another addon to the staff) and...some other pretty nice stuff which I have made.

Iam also going to make roots into more advanced weapons such as arm mounted weapons and weapons that require some engineering.

Iam, as mentioned, a spiritual person.
I believe in greater forces and would appreciate if people could respect that.

Its not that I would care much, but it would stain my view on people (which is going up and down...).
Everytime I think "people and society aint so bad" some people start act like dirtbags.

Iam very, very cynical.

I also believe studying the martial arts is a great way to learn about,
and better oneself. I suppose that is the same thing as studying the
"art of War", I just wouldn't get too caught up on the "war" part of
things.

As a side note, we have a great bunch of people here, nobody will hold
your beliefs against you, unless they are inherently derogatory to
anyone else.

It is true that people can be difficult sometimes, however it is also
true that what we put out also comes back to us. IE Being cynical
sometimes has a way of instigating the very behavior you'd like to
avoid. Assuming anyone may treat you differently because of what you
believe can actually cause people to do so, sometimes consciously but
often unconsciously.

Just a friendly observation... Welcome to the forums!!

I think we all have our beliefs...even if the the belief is not to believe...but NONE of us really know the truth.

NONE OF US.

So, it's not worth the argument of what may or may not be 'right'.

Iam the kind of person who dont want to dictate what others should think and believe, and thats why I wish that no one do the same toward me.

All my weapons are meant to be pleasant to look at and most of them are also ritual tools.
Most of my weapons also contain some crystal or stone for added look and effect.

So...all my weapons are not even good in practic and I just wanted to tell why some of them are clumsy or have a addon which make the weapon harder to handle.


Iam happy to be here, I will start several projects and looking in forums like this one is a great way to learn new ways to craft things.

Iam aware that the more unique and special the weapon is, the higher price you can set on it if you gonna sell it*.


*=If everything else fail in my life I may get my income from crafting stuff and recruit companions to help me crafting.

I also like James bond spy stuff.

I like hearing about other peoples philosophy and viewpoints,
but I don't know if I have one for myself.
I think it is, do not disgrace my family, and always support my elders.

Mostly I love to see how machinery works.

I like your values, they sound wise.

I never analyze how machines work, but I love the sound of them.
Especially the sound of an old clock.

I relax to the sound of the cogs and gears.
