| Nice, it looks pretty vicious, but since the points aren't inline with the base i imagine it would be a bit awkward to use.
also is that a Pyscho mask like from the game Borderlands? nice job on that, it looks pretty cool. | |

| Yeah, it's a bandit mask from paper. Used it on Halloween. And I didn't even think to line up the blades... though it'll probably be the only one I make, so nothing to worry about I suppose. | |

| It reminds me of the Predator's wrist blades. And my god, I love that mask. How are the blades held in place? Best regards, -Lupenstein. | |

| Nice little duster(ripper ), but there are a few issues in it's practicality, at least the ones I'd try to avoid in future designs. For one...the length of the blades will put a lot of leverage on your fingers...you can imagine the pain if you were to strike a hard object/surface...ie.*bone*(upon penetration) causing the blades to stray and ultimately twist your fingers something wicked. I can imagine that even if the opponent simply deflects the blades even by putting his arm in the way...you might be breaking *your* fingers while causing only a few scratches minor punctures to the blocking arm. Basically you want more leverage in your hand than on the blade end...or at least close to balancing them, like you did in the spike version. Also it's just asking for the third blade(in fact I would go as far as even replacing the two side blades with just one in the middle)...this extra point of contact will help maintain the direction of the penetration(I'm guessing), but what I know for sure is the middle blade when just alone will have the most direct force behind it and won't be as susceptible to stray off course under various angles of impact. It is really sweet looking though and does look like a nice slashing weapon, but certainly not a stabbing one(unless of course you add a gauntlet with a solid piece resting on the back of the hand to compensate for the blade leverage ). Thumbs up! and keep up the killer projects! Ivo |

| XIPHOIDS | Also known as a Retractable Forearm Dagger, Xiphoid is a class of weapons with a blade that is retractable into a forearm worn wristband/bracer sheath. Designed for swift and quick surprise attacks. It is notable for being evolved from the Katar and the Pata, punching swords with the blade sitting inline with the users fist.. |
Doers and Talkers | There's two kinds of people in this world when you boil it all down.
You've got your 'talkers' and you've got your 'doers'.
Most people are just talkers, all they got is talk. But when all is said and done, it's the doers who change this world. And when they do that, they change us. And thats why we never forget them...
So which one are you? Do you just talk about it or do you stand up and do something about it? Because believe you me, all the rest of it is just bullshit. |
